 intermediate cylinder) in each color unit within the printing machine.

How does it work?
 
Simply speaking, the blanket is to transfer the image from the plate onto paper. The image is "offset" onto the blanket and then onto the paper. The blanket created a smoother image on most types of paper and can-print on rough or heavy stocks as well as other media. Most offset presses use this lithographic method.



The final products.

It is suitable for UV printing with UV ink. So the finished products are package printing products, like cartons, cans, boards, and advertisements, which are excellent in color presence and usually with vanishing coating.

Structure

The printing blanket normally includes 3 layers as left:

A: a base non-woven fabric or a spun bonded non-woven fabric layer that is assigned to the printing cylinder;

B: a soft, highly resilient void-free compressible intermediate rubber layer that has closed gas pores;

C: an outer-lying void-free layer of an elastomeric layer that faces toward the printing material.

Maintenance

Clean the blanket with fast volatile organic solvents.

Clean rolls when ink color changing or refilling.

Release the blanket off the cylinder when the printing machine stops for a long time.

New blankets should be stored in a dry and cool place covered with a dark layer.
